It is forbidden to install browser extensions without authorization

As communicated several times (e.g. Engage/e-mail dated 13/10/2025), we remind you that installing software on company PCs without authorisation is prohibited.

Browser extensions must also be authorized, as they may introduce significant risks, including:

• Malware, adware or malicious behaviour disguised as useful features
• Unauthorised access to the browser, browsing history, corporate web applications, microphone or webcam
• Data and credential theft (e.g. exfiltration of cookies and saved passwords from browsers, keylogging, access to confidential content)
• Performance degradation or instability of the workstation.

To request authorisation to install new software, please follow these instructions published on Engage.

Extensions and other software installed without authorisation may be removed without prior notice.

We reiterate the absolute urgency of deleting work passwords saved in browsers or stored in plain text (e.g. in text/Excel files) and transferring them to Eng Password Manager.

You are the #FirstLineofDefence: failing to follow these recommendations makes the entire Company and our Clients vulnerable.
